This feature is introduced as an additional security measure to prevent potential hackers from accessing your AviumsHost account using the Password Reset option on our website.
Currently, a password can be reset by providing a username, email address or registered domain name.
You can disable any or all of these options to protect your account.
In order to alter the default password reset settings, follow the instructions given below:
1. Sign into your AviumsHost account.
2. Select Profile from the left sidebar and choose Security from the menu that will appear:
3. In the section Recovery & Alerts click on the Edit button for Recovery Settings.
4. Select your preferred options using the checkbox and click on Save Changes:
WARNING: If you want to disable all Password Reset Options, do this carefully and only if you are completely sure that you will remember your password and no one else who might have access to your account would change the password without you knowing about it (a co-worker, etc.).
Make sure your profile information is always up-to-date, and you have one or more documents to prove your identity. It may become impossible for you to regain access to your account if we are unable to validate your identity.
